Eligibility criteria for Lithuanian Citizenship
Your ancestor left Lithuania sometime before
Lithuania restored its independence on March 11,
1990
The ancestor was naturalized in another country
after 1940 (or was never naturalized)
At least one of your parents, grandparents, or
great-grandparents were citizens of the Republic
of Lithuania (which existed from 1918 to 1940)
