Flanges Nozzle flanges are the most extensively
used and important part of forming piping systems
in a variety of industries. A flange is a round
disc that has a hole to connect pipes, pumps,
valves and other pieces of the equipment. To
connect flanges, they are usually thread screwed
or welded. Flanges enable a person to easily
maintain and fix a piping system. How do Nozzles
work? A nozzle is used to regulate the direction
or properties of a fluid when it enters or exits

neck, plain or boss. ASME B16.5 fittings are used 
to connect 2 pipes or to connect a pipe in the

ANSI B16.5 type of flanges.  The

Class 600 flanges which are for heavy-duty
