State of Art, Technological Crankshaft Grinding 

• RA Power Solutions designs and manufactures
  crankshaft machining polishing equipment having
  range from 35 mm to 700 mm in diameter.
  The crankshaft grinding machine is lightweight,
  easy to operate and portable equipment which can
  be taken to the site. The main feature of
  crankshaft grinding machine is that there is no
  necessity of removing the crankshaft from the
  engine block or casing.

• Cylindrical shafts up to 700 mm diameter can be
  ground and polished onsite irrespective of its
  application like compressor shaft, pump shaft,
  rotor shaft, alternator shaft, turbine, tail
  shaft, etc. Incase of Auxiliary engine and main
  engine, it is observed that due to main journal
  or connecting rod bearing failure the journal
  diameter gets damaged having following broad
  discrepancies

• Development of excessive taper and ovality beyond
  the permissible limit on crankpin and main
  journal diameter of the crankshaft.
• Bearing material getting embedded on the crankpin
  or main journal surface.
• Deep scoring marks or dents on the diameter and
  fillet radius.
• Variation in hardness due to generation of heat.
• Development of cracks.
