• There are numerous technical challenges in online
  classes.
• If we talk about the country of India, then
  there are about 25 crore students who study here.
• And due to Coronavirus, all these students had
  to shift from offline classes to online classes.
• And to do online classes, you must have a better
  internet connection and a smartphone or laptop
  only then you will be able to do online classes
  without any interruption.
• It is also necessary for the school, college,
  and coaching center to use a better online
  Teaching platform to teach the students online so
  that they do not face any problems.

 Costly for some students and teachers

• You can take a class online from the comfort of
  your own home or from anywhere in the world, but
  there are some things you will need, such as a
  high-speed internet connection, a smartphone or
  laptop, or computer, and good headphones for
  better sound quality.
• And if you are a teacher, you need a room with
  proper lighting in which there should not be any
  background noise or disturbance.
• But some students or teachers find it difficult
  to afford all these things because there are many
  such students in India whose parents earn very
  less money.
• Moreover, teachers of private schools do not have
  enough income that they can afford all this.
• Due to a lack of internet connection and smart
  devices, some government and private schools and
  colleges did not offer online lectures to their
  students.
• According to a report, about 3 to 4 crore
  students do not have the means to take online
  classes. Students were therefore unable to
  complete their syllabus. This is a big problem in
  online classes.

Health issues

• There are many health problems or side effects of
  using smartphones too much, such as eye pain,
  loss of eyesight, headache, effect on mental
  health, and many more.
• Earlier, parents used to tell their children that
  they should not use the smartphone too much.
• But in online classes, children or students have
  to sit in front of the phone or laptop for hours,
  and because of this, health issues are fairly
  common in online education. 
• Due to online classes, Eye problems are
  increasing very quickly among students and
  teachers.
• Some students also suffer from mental pressure,
  headaches, and other problems.
• Many students and teachers use headphones and
  earphones in online classes for many hours
  continuously, which may lead to decreased hearing
  abilities.
• All these problems are rarely seen in offline
  classes.

Numerous Distraction

• There are numerous sources of distraction in
  online classes.
• We know that there is often a lot of background
  noise during online classes, both from the side
  of teachers and students due to this both
  students and teachers are unable to focus on the
  class.
• Sometimes teachers or students forget to mute
  their audio and sometimes forget to off their
  video due to this, other students of the class
  cannot focus on their studies.
• It has been seen many times in online classes
  that children join the online class but do not
  focus on what is being taught.
• Due to all these things, online classes may not
  be a better option than offline classes.

 Isolation from Others and Less Personality
Development

• We know that teachers and students cannot
  interact face to face in online classes.
• The students also cannot meet their friends due
  to online classes.
• All this has a side effect too. In the absence of
  face-to-face interaction with teachers and not
  participating in any physical activity in class,
  like they used to do in offline classes, a
  students personality may suffer.
• A person who is not physically interacting with
  anyone for a few days also experiences mental
  deterioration.
• Several students have been suffering from these
  problems while taking online classes.
• In offline classes, students can immediately
  inquire about any subject-related problems or
  doubts they have with their teachers.
• Teachers conduct quizzes and games among their
  students in offline classes from time to time.
• All these activities help a lot in the
  personality development of the students, but it
  is not possible in online classes.

 Lack of technical knowledge

• If today we can do online classes, all this is
  possible only because of technology.
• Online classes are not possible without
  technology. So the students who do not know how
  to use smart gadgets will be very difficult for
  them to learn through online classes.
• Think if 28 of students do not even have
  electricity and internet connectivity, where will
  they get the technical knowledge in advance?
• So thats why online classes are better for those
  who already know something about technology.

Conclusion

• NCERT, CBSE, and many more organizations together
  did a survey.
• This survey found that 28 of the students do
  not have proper electricity, and 27 do not have
  a proper internet facility and do not have proper
  devices for online classes.
• So what about this 28 of students? How can this
  28 percent of students attend online classes who
  do not even have electricity and internet
  facilities? 
• Although 5G will be available in India soon, what
  about the areas without internet access?
• There are many places in India where it is very
  difficult to use even 1G. Online classes are
  better for those who already have proper devices
  to attend classes and have good internet
  facilities.
• So the Indian government should think about all
  these things. This is the reality of online
  classes in India.
