WHAT IS VDI??
Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) is a
technology that refers to the use of virtual
machines to provide and manage virtual desktops.
VDI hosts desktop environments on a centralized
server and deploys them to end-users on request.
Once deployed, a VDI desktop looks and acts like
a traditional desktop, but it runs on remote
servers in a data center instead of being stored
locally on the user's device.

WHAT IS HVD??
A hosted virtual desktop, or HVD, is a complete
desktop environment running as a virtual machine
that leverages the compute and storage of a
cloud-based server. An HVD is implemented by
leveraging virtualization software from vendors,
such as Microsoft, VMware and Amazon.
