civilization. It is the birthplace of humanity's
first societies. The people of Africa have a
diverse range of religions and customs, which are

important cultural practise there is. These
events are engrossing not just in terms of
religion and theology, but also in terms of
family and society. In essence, they symbolise
the coming together of two families or clans. In

manner of commemorating weddings, which can often
