Introduction
FDDI AIST is short for the Footwear Design and
Development Institute All-India Selection Test.
It is the exam that is responsible for the
admission into Footwear design and development
courses in the FFDI. For instance, the courses
include Bachelors Degree in Design and Masters
in Design. The FDDI has long been known as one of
the most attractive design institutes in the
country. Thus, it remains a popular destination
for students from all over the country to pursue
design courses. The FDDI AIST is a paper-based
entrance test. It focuses on design courses in
the Institute. The syllabus of the Footwear
Design and Development AIST exam includes various
subjects. For example, they are Quantitative

FDDI AIST Exam Eligibility Criteria

• The FDDI requires that the candidates who are
  appearing for the different posts be
  matriculated. Moreover, they should have passed
  their Higher Secondary (10 2) education.
• Candidates must have great communication skills
• Candidates applying for reservations should have
  appropriate certificates.
• Also, they may have passed from an All India
  Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved
  three-years full-time Diploma after Class X. The
  Board of Technical Education of the relevant
  state or Union territory should approve it.
• Additionally, candidates may also be appearing
  for the final year exam. However, they should do
  so only from government-recognized institutes.
• Moreover, FDDI reserves 15 seats for Scheduled
  Caste (SC). And 7.5 of seats are for Scheduled
  Tribe (ST). Likewise, 27 seats for OBC
  (Non-Creamy).

FDDI AIST Exam Pattern

• There will be separate papers for Bachelors It
  will carry 200 marks, in the written mode.
• The questions will be objective type questions in
  the form of multiple-choice questions. Moreover,
  it will offer 4 options.
• The FDDI will provide candidates with 150 minutes
  or 2.5 hours to complete the entire examination
• Moreover, there is no negative marking in the
  FDDI AIST Footwear Design and Development
  entrance test.

FDDI AIST Exam Admit Card
The FDDI AIST Admit Card for the examination is
generally released a few days before the start of
the examination. The candidates appearing for the
Footwear Design and Development entrance test can
download Admit Card from the official website of
FDDI AIST. The candidates will need to provide
their roll number. Moreover, they should download
the FDDI AIST Admit Card for later use. Every
candidate must download the Admit Card at least a
week before the exam. Moreover, they should have
more than one copy at hand. Because the FDDI AIST
will not allow any candidate to give the
examination unless they bring it at the time of
the examination. The FDDI AIST Admit card is

result within a span of one to two months from
the date of the examination. There is no fixed
date regarding the release of the results.

counselling process. Otherwise, FDDI releases the

• Q3. Can I apply for both B.Des and M. Des in FDDI

• A. No. Both the FDDI AIST and the Management
