ABOUT UNIVERSITY
Gandhi Institute of Technology Management came
into effect in the year 1980. GITAM was the plan
of a bunch of scholars and people from different
industries of AP. Overall it was a team effort.
From where the institute name has derived? The
name is self-explanatory. In honor of Mahatma
Gandhi the sacrifices he made for the country,
GITAM planned to go with his name. GITAM is a
big-time fan of him and his teachings. As a
result, GITAM has taken the plunge and made
Gandhi's values its priority. Values that can
lead a sinless life ahead are what he always
wanted.

 GITAM's Ultimate Mission Gandhi Institute of
Technology Management strives to create an

Gandhi Institute of Technology Management
started in 1980. The founder was Dr. MVVS Murthy.
It is a private university in Andhra Pradesh,
India. The institute offers a total of 109
courses under the specializations of Technology,
Pharmacy, Science, Management, Architecture, and
Law. Thus, students have plenty of options to
explore and make a wise choice that suits their
suitability.
