2INTRODUCTION
RBI stands for Reserve Bank of India. The Reserve
Bank of India conducts the RBI Grade B Officer
Exam every year to identify qualified candidates
for Grade B officer positions in its many
branches. It was founded in 1935 by British Raj.
RBI conducts exams for officers and office
assistants for various departments.

3RBI GRADE B ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria can
become part of the hiring process for RBI Grade B
Officer. The candidate must satisfy age,
education, and nationality criteria.
- RBI Grade B Officers are divided into three
categories, each with its own set of educational
requirements. Below are the specifics of the
required education certification. - 1. Officers in Grade B (DR) (General)
- A minimum of 60 in any discipline/equivalent
technical or professional certification (50 for
SC/ST/PwBD applicants). - Post-Graduation / Equivalent technical
qualification with a minimum of 55 in all
semesters/years (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD
applicants). - 2. Officers in Grade B (DR) DEPR
- A Masters degree in Economics, Econometrics,
Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics,
Integrated Economics Course/ Finance from a
recognized Indian or international
university/institute, with a minimum grade of 55
across all semesters/years - A minimum of 55 of all semesters/years is
required for a PGDM/ MBA Finance from a
recognized Indian or foreign university/institute.

RBI GRADE B EXAM PATTERN
- RBI Grade B Exam Pattern
- RBI Grade B Officer exam pattern is divided into
three parts, Phase I, Phase II, and interview.
Therefore, the exam pattern is different for
different stages of selection. - Candidates who successfully qualify in the phase
I exam called for the phase II exam. Candidates,
based on their phase II exam score, are called
for an interview. The final selection of
candidates is made based on their performance in
the mains exam and interview. - RBI Grade B officer exam pattern provides details
regarding the overall structure of the exam, such
as marking scheme, total marks, number of
