Healthy Drinks to Make at Home
2
We all know that outside drinks are not good for
our health, but still we consume those drinks
only for their delicious taste. Thats why here
we have some delicious and healthy drink recipes
and their benefits. Hope you guys like it and
you all enjoy these great drinks.
3
  1. Cucumber water

4
The first benefit is that it hydrates the
complete body by fulfilling the lack of water.
Cucumber contains a good amount of water. Due to
the wonderful taste of and benefits of cucumber,
it can be a great alternative to soft drinks and
sugary drinks. It contains a lot of minerals and
vitamins like vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin k and
B6. It contains calciums, potassium, phosphorus
and magnesium also. Small wonder that cucumber
water is a favourite drink for people who want to
go on a fast diet. An infuser bottle is a perfect
device for making this, or any kind of infused
water.

2. Lemon Iced tea
6
First of all it is a great refreshing drink .
Lemons are rich in minerals, vitamins and
antioxidants. They have been used for medicinal
uses and beauty benefits also for centuries, and
were once thought to have healing powers and
protect against poisons. Lemon is such a great
source of energy and it is used to lose weight .
Lemon contains citric acid.
7
3. Strawberry Water
8
This strawberry water is fantastic on its own!
Youll notice that the flavor mellows over time,
if you store it over a few days. We made a big
pitcher and then used it as a fun drink
replacement for soda. This strawberry water is
best with a little sweetness, otherwise it tastes
very tart and flat. Sugar is to fruit as salt is
to vegetables it brings out the essence of the
flavors! If you prefer not to use sugar.Heres
the thing strawberry water does not work as an
infused water. The concept for this strawberry
water is more like an aqua fresca.
9
4. Kombucha
10
Its made by adding specific strains of bacteria,
yeast and sugar to black or green tea, then
allowing it to ferment for a week or more
Kombucha made from green tea contains many of the
same plant compounds and presumably boasts some
of the same benefits Many scientists believe that
antioxidants from food and beverages are better
for your health than antioxidant supplements
Kombucha, especially when made with green tea,
appears to have antioxidant effects in your
liver.
11
5. Mint tea
12
You can enjoy a cup of mint tea before bed
without worries about it keeping you up. You can
vary the mint in this recipe as long as it's
fresh. Peppermint or spearmint are classic
choices, but other varieties will work just as
well. You can even use a mixture of them. While
you can use dried mint for tea, it doesn't
compare to the flavor of fresh herbs. Serve it
hot or iced, sweetened or unsweetened, and with
or without lemon. It's easy to adjust to your
taste and customize to each drinker.
13

hydrating, coconut water is loaded with several
important nutrients, including minerals that many
people dont get enough of. Coconut water is a

12. Watermelon juice
26
As far as fruits go, watermelon is one of the
lowest in calories, only 46 calories per cup (154
grams). Thats lower than even low-sugar fruits
such as berries. Watermelon contains many
beneficial nutrients like potassium, magnesium,
vitamin A, B, B1, B5 and B6. Researchers have
studied lycopene and other individual plant
compounds in watermelon for their anticancer
effects. Though lycopene intake is associated
with a lower risk of some types of cancer, study
results are mixed. The strongest link so far
seems to be between lycopene and cancers of the
digestive system.
