ABOUT UNIVERSITY
Nehru Gram Bharti University (NGBU) is a deemed
university, which laid its foundation in 2008.
The MHRD approved the university to function as a
university. The university has its location in
Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The University Grants
Commission recognized the Nehru Gram Bharti
University (NGBU).

HISTORY
Earlier in 2008, Nehru Gram Bharti University
(NGBU) came into existence by Sri J.N. Mishra. It
is also one of the reputed rural universities of
India. The university was initially conceived by
Late Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. Earlier in 1962, Nehru
laid the foundation of Nehru Gram Bharati in
Rishi Durvasha Ashram, Kotwa-Jamunipur. The
vision is to promote excellence and quality in
education for the next generation. Moreover,
Nehru Gram Bharti University (NGBU) holds its
excellence in learning, teachings, development
and research across various fields. They have six
universities in total.

seating capacity of 100 members at a time.

students project reports, newspapers and journals
and magazines. Both offline and online books and
journals are available on the campus. Many
subscribed e-journals are also available.

inside the campus. It provides delicious foods at
a nominal cost.  Moot Court Nehru Gram Bharti
University (NGBU) has a moot court as per the Bar
Council Of India. For the law students, it became
