3ABOUT UNIVERSITY
One of the Seventh-day Adventist education system
universities "Spicer Adventist University" was
established in 2014. In fact, it is the world's
second-largest chain of Christian schools. SPA is
located in Aundh, Pune, India. Moreover, the
university was established under the State
Government of Maharashtra. Spicer is the second
Self-funding University in Maharashtra. On its
74 acreslarge campus, the university offers many
streams to pursue UG, PG, Doctoral Programs. For
instance, there are fields of study like
Education, Commerce, Arts, Business
Administration, Science courses under
undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The
university also provides a number of programs in
collaboration with Andrews University in the
United States. Moreover, the university also has
creative programs in its curriculum Spicer
University is approved by University Grant
Commission (UGC). However, students can only
apply for admission through the university's
website. Additionally, UG courses are open to
candidates who have completed Class 12 from a
recognized board. Similarly, for PG an applicant
must have a bachelor's degree.But the selection
is based on the PERA CET score.

5HISTORY
Foundationally, the State Government of
Maharashtra established the Spicer Adventist
University. Moreover, it was done on June 14,
2014. In fact, the Maharashtra Act No. XIV of
2014 made it come into existence. Also, it was
inaugurated later on August 28, 2014.
Furthermore, it is affiliated with the Ashlock
Education Society and the Seventh-day Adventist
Church's Southern Asia Division. In Coimbatore,
society has found a higher education institution.
Later, in 1915 the college was moved to
Bangalore, and then to Pune in 1942. Until 2014,
it was known as Spicer Memorial College. Finally,
on June 16, 2014, the Maharashtra Legislative
Assembly granted Spicer Memorial College
university status.
6INFRASTRUCTURE
Foundationally, the infrastructure is the
backbone of an institution. It makes various
types of curricular as well as extra-curricular
activities possible. Hence, a good infrastructure
should provide for modern and conventional needs.
For instance, a wireless internet, library,
e-library, sports equipment, labs, hostels, mess,
etc. Truly, the Spicer Adventist University has
one of the best infrastructures. For instance,
Spicer University is located on 75 acres of land
along the river Mula. There is also Pune
University on the south side of the college. The
well-structured university with its green as well
as calm environment is the best place to study.
The environment of the campus is conducive for
higher studies. The campus also has Spicer
Memorial College Higher Secondary School inside
it.

Religious Studies, B.com, B.Sc. Botany, B.Sc.
Biotechnology, BPA Music, B.Ed, etc are available
