ABOUT UNIVERSITY
People's Education Society University is shortly
called PES University. it is a private
institution for higher studies. In fact, it was
established in 1972. People's Education Society
found the university in a rented gym. Then, it
had only 40 students. At that time university was
known as PES Technical University. Later, the
name changed to PES University in 1988. The
university is situated on 25 acres of land with
more than 15000 students. Moreover, the
University has four campuses   EC Campus, RR,
Campus, HN Campus, Medical Campus. Specifically,
the university offers a number of streams to its
students to pursue UG, PG and Doctorate Programs.
For instance, there are streams like engineering,
computer management, law, hotel management,
business management, architecture, science, and
commerce. All these streams are available for
undergraduate as well as master's studies.

 Moreover, the university also offers doctorate
programs as well. Furthermore, to take admission
in PESU students have to pass the PESSAT exam
followed by an interview round. Then, the
selected students can deposit the registration
fees to confirm their admission. Finally, the
university has won many awards and rankings from
renowned ranking bodies. Recently, in 2019, NIRF
ranked PES 76-100 for MBA. Besides, the
university got 26th rank for MBA by Times 2020
and 64th by Outlook too in 2020. Above all, UGC
and AICET have also approved PES
University.   Highlights Above all, the major
contribution of the PES university and its
students has been the PISAT the nanosatellite.
The students as well as their mentor worked
together for a total of five years on this
project. Finally, the PISAT was launched into
space in July 2016. Moreover, the Indian Space
Research Organization helped the students in
launching this nanosatellite free of cost.

HISTORY
The People's Education Society operates PESU. In
fact, the society established the university in
1972. Then, it started operating from a rented
gym in Bangalore with 40 students. Now, the PES
University campus spans 25 acres. Moreover, PES
currently operates over 45 educational programs
with over 15000 students in Karnataka and
neighboring Andhra Pradesh.

COURSES
Bachelors  Firstly, The PES University offers
many courses at the undergraduate level in
various streams. For instance, the streams which
the university offers are engineering, computer
management, law, hotel management, business
management, architecture, science, and commerce,
etc. Namely, BBA, B.Arch, B.com, BBA. LLB (Hons.)
B. Pharm, B.Des, BA. LLB, etc are available in
many specializations as well. Masters Secondly,
the University offers many post-graduate courses.
For Instance, MBA, M. Pharma, LLM, M.com,
ME/M.tech, MCA, etc, and many more options are
there to choose ones area of specialization.  Ph.
D. Finally, for the Ph.D. courses, the candidate
has to get his Masters degree from a reputed
University. Moreover, he/she should have a
minimum of 55 marks. One can browse the courses

facilities? Ans. Yes, PES University offers a
sports facility. There are sports grounds for
outdoor games. For instance, games like Tennis

enthusiasts. Moreover, the gym is well-equipped
