Title: Band Pass Filters
1Anatech Electronics, Inc., is a privately-held,
ISO 90012015-certified company founded in 1990
that focuses on the design and manufacturing of
RF and microwave filters and related products.
Our broad array of products are employed in
commercial, aerospace and defense, and industrial
applications throughout the world. We specialize
in rapidly responding to customer needs and
creating cost-effective solutions to meet them.
In addition to its custom products, Anatech
Electronics has an extensive Standard product
database listing with the ability to request a
quote as well as purchase products after a
proposal is sent.
2Band Pass Filters
- Anatech Electronics Standard Band pass filters
database is a library of previously designed band
pass filters in several technologies, such as
Cavity Band pass filters, Waveguide band pass
filters, Ceramic Band pass filters, Lumped
elements band pass filters, SAW band pass
filters, Helical band pass filters and Crystal
band pass filters.
3Cavity Band Pass Filters (0.1-47 GHz)
- Anatech Electronics cavity band pass ?lters are
available in a wide range of frequencies, power
levels, bandwidths, and rejection. The resonators
and cavities are silver plated for low RF
resistivity, in order to achieve low insertion
loss and high selectivity. - The RF band pass filters size depends on
performance requirements, frequency of operation,
RF power handling, insertion loss, and number of
sections. Anatech Electonics uses the best
topology required to achieve the required
performance.
4Ceramic Band Pass Filters
- Anatech Electronics ceramic band pass filters
deliver good performance and reliability and
serve a broad array of applications from 200 MHz
to 8000 MHz. The size of a Ceramic Band Pass
Filter depends on the dielectric constant of the
ceramic resonator (typically between 30 and 90),
the lower the dielectric constant, the larger the
resonator, the better the temperature coef?cient,
and vice versa. - Anatech Electronics Ceramic band pass ?lters can
be made from discrete ceramic resonators or as a
single piece of a ceramic material called a
Monoblock structure.
5SAW Band Pass Filters
- Surface acoustic wave (SAW) band pass ?lters
employ the piezoelectric effect to convert an
electromagnetic signal into an acoustic signal
and vice versa. A SAW band pass filter provides
sharp cut-off, very linear phase characteristics,
high stability, and are highly reliable. - Electrical signals are converted to a mechanical
wave in a device constructed of a piezoelectric
crystal or ceramic, and the wave is delayed as it
propagates across the device before being
converted back to an electrical signal.
6LC Band Pass Filters
- Anatech Electronics Lumped-element Band Pass
Filters or LC band pass filters range in
frequency from 10 kHz to 3000 MHz. The LC
Bandpass Filter is based on inductors and
capacitors type resonators. - The LC Band pass Filter is relatively small and
are optimized to achieve peak performance within
a given set of speci?cations and mechanical
requirements.
7Waveguide Band Pass Filters (7-36 GHz)
- Anatech Electronics Waveguide band pass ?lters
are available in frequencies from 7-36 GHz. The
resonators and cavities are silver plated for low
RF resistivity, in order to achieve low insertion
loss and high selectivity. - The Waveguide band pass filter size depends on
performance requirements, frequency of operation,
RF power handling, insertion loss, and number of
sections. Anatech Electonics uses the best
topology required to achieve the required
performance. Our Waveguide Band Pass FIlters can
be designed in weatherproof packaging for outdoor
use.
8Crystal Band Pass Filters(0.003-250 MHz)
- Crystal band pass ?lters use the piezoelectric
effect of quartz crystals and convert mechanical
motion into electric signals. The low thermal
expansion of quartz crystals allows crystal
?lters to produce stable performance over a wide
temperature range. - This type of crystal pass band filter exhibit
extremely high Q factor, giving them the ability
to achieve extremely narrow bandwidth in the
range of a few kHz. Such a high Q factor, in the
range of 5000 and higher than 10000 results in
relatively low loss considering their extremely
narrow bandwidth.
