Dementia isnt actually a disease but a group of
symptoms caused by several other conditions. As
estimated, over 50 million people are living with
dementia worldwide. The most common cause of
dementia is Alzheimers. Studies also say that
about 60-80 of people with dementia are
suffering from Alzheimers. However, there are 50
other causes of dementia too. In general,
symptoms of dementia may improve with treatment.
But some of the diseases that cause dementia
arent treatable.
