right now is soccer. A lot of people have been
addicted to soccer and it is being played by
anyone on almost every place in this planet. One
good thing about soccer is that it is a team
sport where a lot of people can play and it is
not that expensive to play. All you need is a

Cup. The World Cup can be considered as the
biggest prize in soccer because all the countries
in the world are competing against each other to
win the cup. Winning the cup means that your
country has the best soccer players in the world
and this can bring so much pride to a
country. Almost all the countries in the world
that have soccer players send delegates to try
and win the cup. There is an elimination round
to eliminate the extra teams that do not make it
to the top 32 teams who qualify. Only 32 teams
will make it to the next round and play the World
Cup Finals which is one of the most-watched
sporting events in the world. The games are
played in the host nations field which is
similar to the Olympics where one place will host
the event. The format of the World Cup Finals is
a very interesting one because there is the
knockout stage and the group stage. The group
stage is the part where the 32 teams are grouped
into 8 groups of 4 and they play a round-robin,
which means that they will all go against every
single team in their group. The two
highest-scoring teams can then move on to the
knockout stage. The point system is designed to
give the winning team 3 points, a draw with 1
point for both teams and nil for the losing
team. After teams are eliminated, the 16 teams
that are left will move on to the knockout part
of the tournament. The knockout tournament is
only one game where the losing team goes home.
There is extra time and shootouts for this to be
sure that there will be no draw. Every game,
there will be a winner and there will be a team
that will have to try their luck next time. It
goes on this way until only one team stands at
the top unbeaten and becomes the winner of the
World Cup.
