ABOUT UNIVERSITY
NIILM University is located in Kaithal, Haryana.
It is a private university. The state government
of Haryana has recognized it under Haryana Act
No. 16 of 2011. The University Grant Commission
has also recognized its degrees. It offers
undergraduate and also post-graduate degrees in
various disciplines. Allied Sciences, Management,
Fashion Design, Arts, law, engineering, commerce,
etc., are among them.  It serves as a junction
for students of many nationalities. The
university hosts students from neighboring
countries. For instance, Bhutan, Afghanistan,
Bangladesh, Nepal, China, etc. Nonetheless, it
also has students from countries as well. In
particular Burundi, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Gambia,
Uganda, etc. As a result, it provides a rich
cross-cultural experience to all the students.
Hence, it upgrades them into global citizen.

HISTORY
In the year 2011, this university came into
being. NIILM Education Trust is behind the
creation of this respected private institution.
Above all, its mission is to provide quality
higher education. So that It can meet the
changing national and global scenarios. Since its
establishment, the university has been providing
education and training. Moreover, it serves as a
melting pot for many nationalities, consequently
making its students open to cross-cultural
discussion and dialogue.

INFRASTRUCTURE

• Modern infrastructure is an aid to learning.
  NIILM provides its students state-of-art campus
  and all other facilities. Moreover, they are
  necessary to expand the horizon of education.
  Given below are some of the noteworthy features
• There are spacious classrooms. Hence, provide a
  teacher enough opportunity to interact and focus
  on each student.
• The whole campus is Wi-Fi-enabled.
• Library and labs The library at NIILM serves as
  the repository of knowledge. Likewise, it has a
  vast collection of print and digital materials.
  Additionally, it provides access to various
  National and International Journals for research
  purposes. The laboratories inside the premises of
  the campus are well-equipped with modern
  technology. In fact, there are nine labs in
  total. For instance, there is a computer lab,
  Physics lab, chemistry lab, Biotechnology lab,
  etc. The labs are the training ground for
  students as well. Hence, it helps them in
  understanding and application of the academic
  material.

INFRASTRUCTURE
Accommodation Separate hostels for girls and
boys are available. Moreover, the rooms are
spacious, well-lit, and well-ventilated.
Furthermore, the hostels are 24X7 connected with
Wi-Fi, water supply, and energy supply. Besides,
Wardens for boys and girls hostel keep a tight
watch on all the activities. There are
recreational rooms in the hostel. For instance,
in these rooms, students can watch Television,
read newspapers, and have leisure time. Hostel
blocks have telephone booths. They have computers
for research and connectivity as well.  Canteen
and mess There is a cafeteria in the university
as well. Moreover, it provides balanced but
luxurious meals at very cheap rates. The
cafeterias menu also has many cuisines to choose
from. Besides, The Authorities of the University
ensure whether the food is in line with hygiene
standards or not. Spacious mess and dining
facility for students to enjoy eating wholesome
and delicious meals.  There is another food joint
as well. Hence, as the name suggests, it serves
small meals to students.

INFRASTRUCTURE

• Sports and Fitness At the university, the
  students have ample options for indoor and
  outdoor sports. A tuck shop, laundry services,
  Gym, etc. make the stay of students even more
  comfortable. In case of a health emergency, the
  university has provided a clinic on the premises
  of the campus. One can visit at any time of the
  day. It is available round-the-clock. At the
  university, health is promoted. So to ensure a
  healthy lifestyle, the University campus has a
  well-equipped and air-conditioned Gym. It is
  available for everyone. However, the timing for
  girls, boys, and staff are different. Inside the
  campus, there is a spa and a salon. Moreover, it
  helps the students to maintain their looks and be
  confident about their bodies.
• Other facilities A professional team of security
  guards ensures the safety of the campus and
  hostel. University maintains a fleet of buses for
  a better and safer commuting facility. currently,
  the University campus doesnt have an ATM
  facility. Nevertheless, it will be made available
  shortly.

LATEST NEWS/ UPDATE

• 17 March 2020 The University issued a
  notification declaring the result of Viva-voce
  held on 14th march 2020 for PH.D.
• 9 January 2019 The University declared the
  result of Viva-voce held on 25 December 2018 for
  PH.D.

FAQ Q 1. Is NIILM University recognized/
accredited? Ans. Yes, The University Grant
Commission has recognized NIILM University.
Moreover, the NAAC has also graded it.    Q 2. Is
there any entrance exam for admissions at NIILM
University? Ans. For courses like M.Sc. Fashion
Designing and M.A physical education, etc., the
NIILM conducts entrance tests. Besides that,
admissions to the rest of the courses are based
on merit.
