• We believe at Jindal Vidya Mandir at Salav
  that service learning has tremendous value in
  teaching our students that the world is bigger
  than themselves and their immediate community.

• Recently I appealed to our school community
  to stand in solidarity about the Mahad Taluka
  Disaster and camaraderie and spirit for fellow
  human beings was self-evident. I am elated that
  we discarded Donation nomenclature as
  donor-donee reveals a superior and
  inferior relationship. I am immensely happy
  that staff, parents and students have undertaken
  diversified community projects recently and in
  yesteryears that reveals that our core values -
  integrity, responsibility, respect, and empathy-
  have transpired beyond campus and curriculum. 
• Thank you for your partnership, and we look
  forward to working together to serve our
  community and beyond. 
• I trust virtual schooling is settling in
  and soon for humane connect we will open campus

Esprit De Corps Reaching Sanding in
Solidarity with Mahad
We firmly believe that One of the most important
things you can do on this earth is to let people
know they are not alone. - Shannon L. Alder And
it is rightly propounded that the best way to
find yourself is to lose yourself in the service
of others. -Mahatma Gandhi. What seems to be an
increasing frequency of natural disasters is very
disturbing to us at Jindal Vidya Mandir, Salav
but what we find heart-warming is the compassion
and generosity that we can express towards the
mankind in need. In the wake of the disasters
in Mahad, the school called its community for
help to the people victimized by the flood and
land-sliding in Mahad. And in response to this
noble call, our student-parent community, the
residents of JSW, Salav and the staff stood up in
solidarity and charitably contributed necessities
like eatable items, medicines, clothes and so on
for the brothers, sisters and the children in
Mahad as per their individual capacity. This
collection of help was promptly conveyed to the
people in Mahad with the words of moral support
by a school team comprising of the Principal, Mr
Ritwiz Gaur, Ms Swati, Ms Ashwini, Ms Anuja and
Mr Sandeep on 27th July -2021.

On 27th July, a team comprising of the Principal
Mr Ritwiz Gaur, Ms Archana, Ms Ashwini, Ms
Anuja, Ms Swati and Mr Sandeep went to Mahad for
helping the fellow brothers, sisters and the
children in the landslide and flood stricken area
with the necessities donated by school community.
There, the team not only distributed the
articles, but also they appeased the victims
with their warm words.

• Jindal Vidya Mandir, Salav celebrated
  International Chocolate Day on 7th July -2021.
• To make the day chocolaty and delightful, various
  contests like chocolate designing, chocolate
  painting, storytelling, poems on chocolate and
  enactments on chocolate were organized for all
  the classes.
