SEYCHELLES WEDDING DURING A PANDEMIC?

• Similar to almost everywhere around the world, at
  one point Seychelles had to temporarily pause all
  beach weddings to play it's role in the fight
  against Covid-19.
• With the Seychelles airport which was fully
  reopened back in March, weddings are happening
  full swings again with the exception to a few
  guidelines.

• Beach Weddings- 
• ?
• - Physical distancing of minimum 1 meter is to be
  maintained at time between couples and the
  wedding Organizers (Civil Status Officer,
  attendants, photographers, decorators etc)
• ?
• ?

• Greetings at any time will be without handshakes
  or any other form of physical contact between
  couples and any wedding personnel(Civil officer,
  decorator, attendants, photographers, and any
  other staff members etc)
• - Couples, witnesses, the civil officer and
  everyone on the wedding organizing team are to
  sanitize their hands prior to commencement of
  their respective roles at the venue.
• - A designated sanitized pen is to be provided on
  the table for the couple to sign the registration
  book.
• The civil officer will not share the same pens as
  the clients or witnesses.

• All cutlery for toasting and cake cutting
  ceremony will be disposable (cake knife, fork,
  plates, napkins, champagne flutes etc..)
• Should the couples wish to use non-disposable
  cutlery, they should bring their own, and also
  handle it themselves.
• In the event that non-disposable items are used,
  the correct disinfection and sanitation process
  is to be maintained at all times, as per the
  regulations and guidelines by the Minister of
  Health.
• - Limitations of 4 people per beach wedding.

• Hotel Weddings-
• - Room weddings are currently non permissible,
  until further notice from the Government of
  Seychelles. 
• -Weddings can be done in a public area of the
  hotel which has a table that is required for the
  registrar.
• This will be at the disposition of the hotel and
  with permission of access.
