Women who are faced with hair loss from
chemotherapy or radiation treatment often choose
at least one wig and then alternate wearing the
wig(s) with hats and scarves. Remember, your hair
will grow back, although its thickness, texture,
and color may not be the same as it was before
treatment.The clinical term describing hair
loss is alopecia. Hair loss usually occurs two to
three weeks after the beginning of chemotherapy
or radiation therapy.

• A wig is a head covering made from human hair,
  animal hair, or synthetic fibre that is worn for
  fashion or other reasons, including cultural
  tradition and religious observance.Some people
  wear wigs to disguise baldness a wig may be used
  as a less intrusive and less expensive
  alternative to medical therapies for restoring
  hair.

Choosing that exact wig.

• Before Choosing the wig, have some points in your
  mind-
• - You can get it in a shop, online, or through a
  charity program. Some Cancer hospitals even
  provide wigs for cancer patients, that too
  totally FREE
• -Decide if youd like a wig thats similar in
  color and style to your own hair.
• -Consider choosing a color that is somewhat
  lighter than your own hair.
• -Determine if you want a wig thats made out of a
  synthetic fiber, human hair, or a mixture of both.
