warmth, and clean. Its a breath of fresh air to
a neutral nursery space. You can pair it with any
other color accents to bring out the rich and
creamy goodness of white.

Yellow is known for its sunny temperament. It is
bright and warm. If you are considering yellow
for your nursery, consider the mellow yellows
because bright yellow tones can increase anxiety.

Green is calming. It is believed to reduce
stress, and help colicky babies relax. Green is
tranquil, soothing and refreshing.

Purple is soothing and sophisticated. Purple
colors like violet and lavender can encourage
creativity and artistic tendencies. It also has a
calming effect.

Red walls are probably not a great idea for a
babys nursery because its not the best sleep
inducer. However, consider painting a single wall
or have red accent pieces. Or, if you really want
red walls, consider the playroom. Red is an
energetic and lively color, particularly if
youre going with scarlet and crimson. In some
cultures, red is considered to be a lucky color.
In those cultures, red is the color of choice for
most baby gifts too.

Orange is a friendly color. It is inviting and
invigorating, and it brings energy into a room.
Consider shades like apricot and coralthese are
balancing and grounding.
