1Lock down to open in Delhi from Monday
Kejriwal Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal
said on Friday that the unlock process will be
started in the capital from Monday. He told that
during this time the interests of daily laborers
will be given priority.
The corona situation in Delhi now appears to be
slowly coming under control. Daily cases have
fallen below 1500 and positivity rates have also
fallen below 3 percent. The Chief Minister said
that the unlock process will be done in phases.
Not all activities will be unlocked
simultaneously. Keeping in mind the interest of
daily wage laborers, only construction activities
and factories will be able to reopen from
Monday. A detailed guideline will be issued for
this. The decision was taken at a meeting of the
Delhi Disaster Management Authority chaired by
Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal. Kejriwal said
that people still need to be very restrained.
