  physicians and pain specialists are highly
  qualified to precisely diagnose and plan
  patient-centered treatment to address chronic
  acute pain. We are devoted to treating patients
  and render the best patient care possible.

• Appointments within 2 weeks of the request
• We follow up with your referring doctor within 1
  week of your visit
• We accept most insurances
• Follow up soon after your procedures to evaluate
  your progress
• You and us make your treatment plan together,
  taking your goals into consideration
• We do not prescribe opioids but we are happy to
  help you find other options to treat your pain
  and make recommendations regarding their use.

• Our Doctors
• Dr. Esther Caballero (Manrique, MD, Ph.D.) -
• Dr. Esther Caballero-Manrique is an
  Anesthesiologist and certified pain medicine
  physician who brings her knowledge and advanced
  skill set to Interventional Spine of Vermont. Dr.
  Esthers notable diagnosis and pain management
  skills help us to render patient-centered pain
  management treatments including radiofrequency
  ablation, botox injection and spinal cord
  stimulation, which most pain management practices
  dont provide.
• Dr. Esther is board-certified in two specialties
  Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. After her
  training in Anesthesiology at the University of
  Vermont and sub-specialization in pain medicine,
  she practiced at the same university as an
  attending Anesthesiologist and pain specialist
  until she co-founded Interventional Spine of
  Vermont. She is an active member of the American
  Society of Anesthesiology and serves as a
  presenter and reviewer to the American Society of
  Regional Anesthesia and pain medicine. Dr.
  Esther stays up-to-date with all the latest
  developments and research in pain medicine and is
  periodically adding new treatment options in her
  expertise.
• Dr. Clarence S. Ivie III (D.O., M.P.H) -
• Dr. Sonny Ivie received his medical degree from
  Kansas City University of Medicine and
  Biosciences. He completed his residency in
  Anesthesiology at the University of Vermont
  Medical Center and continued with a Fellowship in
  Pain Medicine also at the University of Vermont
  Medical Center.
• Following his fellowship, Dr. Ivie worked as an
  Anesthesiologist at Palmetto Anesthesia and Pain
  in Hilton Head, So Carolina. He returned to
  Vermont again and joined the faculty at the
  University of Vermont. Over the past 15 years, he
  has gained experience treating both common and
  complex pain procedures. Dr. Ivie also served as
  the Program Director for the UVMMC Fellowship
  Training Program.
• Dr. Ivie resides in South Burlington, VT with his
  wife Kirsten and son Jack. He enjoys time spent
  at home with his family, playing guitar, and
  playing videogames.
