IB PYP Early Years Curriculum

• The IB framework for Early Years (part of the
  Primary Years Programme) focuses on developing
  children as inquirers through a play based
  learning environment. 
• The early years of a childs education are vital
  to their future success, setting foundations
  academically as well as personally and socially.

IB PYP Primary curriculum

• The PYP is all about inquiry the process
  through which a learner moves from his or her
  current level of understanding to a new and
  deeper level. The PYP programme, intended for
  children ages 3 to 12, encourages students to
  become inquirers, thinkers, communicators,
  risk-takers, and to be knowledgeable, principled,
  caring, open-minded, balanced and reflective.

Middle Years Program Curriculum

• The MYP is a five-year programme, which can be
  implemented in several abbreviated (two, three or
  four year) formats. At Ambassador International
  Academy students have a choice and may take the
  MYP as Year 1 3 or as Year 1 5, depending on
  whether they opt for MYP in Grades 6 10 or MYP
  in Grades 6 8 and IGCSEs in Grades 9 and 10.

Parent Communication

• The main channel of communication between
  school and parents is through the D6 School
  Communicator.  The Communicator has the full
  calendar of school events, news and a resources
  section with a range of notices, information
  sheets and policies. Teachers also communicate
  regularly with parents via email.

Extra-Curricular Activities

• Our activities consist of sports, arts and
  cultural and Academic Enrichment Activities. The
  aim of our programme is to provide students with
  a variety of different opportunities which, in
  many cases, will be a chance further to develop
  and extend skills they have learnt within the
  curriculum.

After School Care For Siblings

• We offer afterschool care for children in Pre
  KG and KG1 who have older brothers and sisters in
  Primary. This enables parents to collect their
  children at the same time or siblings can travel
  on together on the school bus.
