• The sea covers over 70 of the Earths surface.
  The sea is the planets soul yet it is being
  changed by environmental change. The coral reef
  is very important to us. To us, that is our way
  of life. For years fishermen made their living
  around the coral reefs that formed the heart of
  an underwater community. Colonies of tiny
  animals, corals host one in four of all marine
  species, but they are dying. Over half are gone
  already. The lay confronting elimination on a
  scale that could prompt obliterating changes for
  the sea, the planet, and everybody on it.

• In Hawaii, a group of scientists dedicates their
  lives to save corals. They are pioneers using
  cutting-edge technology and methods to help the
  corals make a comeback. Years before, the
  underwater garden looked immensely beautiful and
  amazing. Today what we get to see is a semblance
  of that past self. It looks like a battlefield.
  There is nobody living. it is devastating to
  watch.

• It is not just the beauty of corals that is
  fading. Reefs provide crucial protection from
  storms. Reefs are also food or resources for 500
  million people. Even the air we breathe u to half
  the planets oxygen comes from the ocean and the
  corals within. This means that protecting them is
  like protecting ourselves.
