Tennis shoes are the most crucial part of any
tennis game. And as tennis games are played on
different tennis courts (hard, clay, grass, and
carpet courts), it is vital to know which type of
tennis shoes are good for different courts. So,
without wasting any time lets dive in!
3
Whether you are a beginner or a professional
player on the tennis court, tennis shoe choice is
the most vital when it comes to giving good
performance. Your sneaker choice should depend
on the type of surface you would play. Lets
start discussion on different type of court and
how they are different from each other.
4
Clay Court
Clay courts are made from stone, brick, and
crushed shale. These types of tennis courts are
very difficult to maintain. The groves available
on regular tennis shoes can disrupt the
smoothness of the surface and can potentially
destroy the court in the end.
5
Combination of mesh and leather will help for
better hold of shape, unlike other
sneakers. These pair of shoes contain an extra
layer to protect toes.
6
Hard Court
These courts are very common and mainly consist
of rigid material. The rigidity of the hardcourt
allows the ball to bonus more. If we see the hard
court, its typically covered in acrylic like in
Australian open. It also includes a basic
blacktop tennis courtwhich we used to play in gym
class in our school time.
7
This is one of coolest and quickest shoes
presently available in the market. It is fresh
version of Solution Speed 3. It has flyte foam
padding for providing better support to the
ankles. It Comes in Mako-Blue-White.
8
Grass Court
Grass Court Surface as the name suggests grass
court. It is a mix-up of grass and hard-packed
soil. The famous Wimbledon Championship is played
on grass courts and even the US Open used to play
on grass court until the 1970s but now they are
now hard courts.
9
It is made to provide an optimum combination of
stability and comfort for all level players. It
comes with TRI-NRG midsole construction along
with straps that will keep shoes on its place.
10
carpet Court
Carpet surface court comes in the category in
which courts are removable with a rubber backing.
Not many tournaments are played on such courts
but these types of courts are famous in Asia. All
types of traditional shoes will work fine on
these courts.
