Title: The Honey Bee Farming
1(No Transcript)
2 First Choose an appropriate area in your
backyard to start your honey bee farming. Start
with one or two hives, and place them where there
are lots of nectar- and pollen-producing
flowering plants.
There should be lots of shade, no wind, and
in a discrete area where they won't disturb your
non-beekeeping neighbors.
3 The Colony of Honey Bees
A colony of a honey bee generally has
three types of bees.
Queens bees
Workers bees

basically take care of themselves you just need
to check up on them every couple of weeks.

Spring is definitely the time to get
new bees and start a hive! Read up in late winter

and start going to those local beekeeping clubs.
