What is Spider vein treatment ?

• It is often assumed that Spider veins are
  synonymous with varicose veins. However, there is
  a difference between the two. Spider veins are
  red, blue and purple in color. They appear mostly
  on face, calf, thighs, ankle and in very few
  cases on chest and neck. They begin as tiny
  capillaries and appear as blue or red squiggles
  and sometimes even as starburst clusters or
  spider webs.
• Spider veins are actually capillaries or thin
  blood vessels directly connected to larger venous
  system. Like varicose veins, spider veins are
  also caused due to venous reflux. Spider veins
  may be associated with large feeder underlying
  varicose veins or may be isolated. Spider veins
  cannot be felt, but merely seen on the skins
  surface.
