    That is because the body of an overweight person
    requires more energy and nutrients to function.
    While making adjustments to eating habits and
    exercising help in reducing the excess fat, the
    tasks are easier said than done.

Avoid High-Carb Vegetables
  • It is a common notion that switching to a vegan
    diet helps in weight loss, but it may not be
    entirely true. Though, unlike meat and dairy
    products, vegetables do not have fat, many
    vegetables such as potatoes and corn have high
    levels of carbohydrates, which can facilitate
    weight gain. You can avoid high carbohydrate
    vegetables by going for a healthier alternative
    such as cauliflower. It is low on carbohydrates
    and can be served in place of potatoes and corn,
    and that too without compromising on the taste of
    the meal.

Avoid Casserole
  • It is essential to avoid milk, yogurt, cheese,
    and ice cream as they are high on calories. When
    a person consumes more calories than they
    consume, the excess calories turn into fat.
    Casseroles are usually served with cheese and

    carbohydrates and fat. You must replace these
    ingredients with healthier alternatives such
    roasted green beans. They do not require to be
    dipped in any carbohydrate-rich ingredients.
