  written and directed by Nag Ashwin and produced

  Tamil, the film is based on the life of Indian
  actress Savitri, which was played by Keerthy
  Suresh, while Dulquer Salmaan, in his Telugu
  debut, plays the role of Gemini Ganesan.
• The film was a critical and commercial success,
  with praise for the performance of Keerthy as
  Savitri. The film was showcased in the Indian
  Panorama Mainstream section at the 49th
  International Film Festival of India,8 and was
  also screened at the Shanghai International Film
  Festival.

• It is a 2006 Telugu romantic comedy family drama
  film directed and co-written by Bhaskar in his
  directorial debut, and produced by Dil Raju.
• The film features Siddharth, Genelia D'Souza,
  Prakash Raj and Jayasudha. The film primarily
  revolves around the relationship between a father
  and son, in which the father has excessive
  concern for his son, and interferes in his life,
  leads to the latter harbouring bitterness towards
  his overbearing father.
• It won state honors and rave reviews, the film
  went on to win the South Filmfare Awards among
  other prominent awards. The film's success broke
  several records at the box office at the time of
