The Golden Chariot was collaborated by the
Karnataka Tourism Bureau in 2008 with the
Ministry of Railways, the Government of Indian
Characteristics and the Ministry of Tourism of
the Indian Government to provide discerning
railway travelers with a way to explore the
history and culture of luxury Karnataka. Now a
joint venture between the Karnataka State Tourism
and Development Corporation (KSTDC) and the
Indian Railways, the Golden Chariot train derives
its name from the famous stone.

There are 44 cabins in total, including 26 single
bed cabins, 17 double bed cabins and 1 disabled
friendly cabin.
Modern Amenities Include - Air conditioning,

player and Attached bathroom among others.
6Dining Cuisines
Golden Chariot has two multi-functional
restaurants - Nala and Ruchi. The elegant
decoration of these restaurants is inspired by
the architectural aesthetics of Halebid and Hampi.

The Golden Chariot lounge bar is Madira, which
literally means the mythical drink of the gods,
is the best place to relax after a hard day's
sightseeing. It houses a variety of exotic wines
and spirits to soothe your tired soul.
