Indian spices are popular across the globe and
have successfully marked a place in the global
cooking sphere. There is a wide range of Indian
spices used in cooking Indian dishes and
varieties and they add flavor and taste to the
dishes. Each of these Indian spices has its own
flavoring and essence and the absence of one
spice can literally break the dish.  In ancient
times, Indian spices were hugely exported to
various parts of the world and traders from
different parts of the world visited Indian for
these exotic spices. Apart from adding flavor and
texture to dishes, Indian spices are known to
have some impeccable health benefits and
medicinal properties too. Indian ancestors used
these spices to the Indian food culture for the
very same reason. In this article, we will
discuss some of the spices and their medicinal
properties and health benefits.  Anise  Mostly
used for culinary purposes in various Indian,
Chinese, Malaysian dishes, Star Anise is a rich
source of antioxidants such as Linalool and
vitamin C. It boosts your immune system to a
great extent to fight against environmental
toxins and bacteria. You can easily get star
anise from the online grocery store or from a
departmental store.

spices such as pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon and is
used in making Indian dishes such as lentils,

circulation and also improve the dental and heart
