916?
  • Both are same
  • 916 old has a proportion of 91.6 grams pure 24
    karat gold in 100 grams of alloy
  • 22/24 in percentage is 91.6.
  • 22 Karat is considered as the ideal proportion.
  • 24 Karat is the purest form but it is too soft
    and with low malleability to make ornaments out
    of it
