What is a UK Tourist Visa? A UK tourist visa is
a permit for people who want to enter the country
for a short period of time. Based on the purpose
of the visit. Visitor visa is one of them If
your purpose is solely travel and explore the

Visitor Visa. and this visa is issued for a
duration of 6 months validity. If youre
traveling regularly to the UK, visa issued has a
validity of up to 2,5 or 10 years from the date

Documents required for a UK Tourist Visa

• To get a visa, there are certain UK visa
  requirements along with mandatory documents that
  are to be submitted with the visa application.
  The documents required for UK Visitor Visa are as
  follows
• A valid passport of the applicator
• Proof of the legal residence - an ID card,
  passport
• Proof of applicators previous travel history - a
  copy of the visa
• Accommodation Proof - hotel bookings, an
  Invitation letter from the host
• Proof of employment or studies -
• If employed
• A copy of the Employment contract or Employee ID
  card copy
• Letter from a company stating sanction of leave
  for the travel period
• NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the employer
• If self-employed
• Business license copy
• Commerce register copy or as a partner in a
  company

• Letter of the travel period leave grant for the,
  or NOC
• Admission Proof
• If retired
• Pension statement of the latest 6 months
• Copy of Retirement letter/relieving letter
• Proof of funds to support the stay - Bank
  Statements for the last 6 months/ Passbook
• Proof of ties in the home country - Rent
  agreement, proof of bank accounts, etc.
• A complete itinerary of travel
• 2 photographs, as per regulated dimensions
• Photo specification

• Facial expression - neutral
• The photograph must be recent
• Photo size 35mm X 45mm
• Eyes - directly gazing at the lens
• Background Clear basic cream or light grey
• No Red-eye effect from the camera flash
• Headgear - not permitted except in religious
  cases
• Glasses/spectacles - allowed only for medical
  reasons
