• Egypt houses some of the worlds most famous,
  enigmatic and astonishing ancient monuments, with
  a history of culture and civilization that dates
  back thousands of years. Its population is so
  large in part because of its major cities of
  Egypt. Egypt, a country situated mainly in the
  northeast corner of the African continent
  bordering the Mediterranean Sea in the north and
  the Gulf of Suez, the Gulf of Aqaba, and the Red
  Sea in the east.

• Cairo
• The largest city in Egypt is also the 15th
  largest metropolitan area in the world. Cairo is
  the capital of Egypt and its most important city,
  and with almost 20 million inhabitants, it's also
  one of the world's largest cities. Cairo also
  takes its place as the most populated desert city
  with a cosmopolitan setting, people from all over
  the world call this city home. The world-famous
  Egyptian Museum boasts an incredible collection
  of ancient Egyptian artifacts.

• Luxor is known as the world's greatest
  open-air musuem, Luxor is home to some of Egypt's
  most famous temples, tombs and monuments. Luxors
  lush and luxurious landscape is the setting for
  incredible ancient monuments. The once
  resplendent city of the ancient world is like a
  modern-day, open-air museum for visitors. Luxor
  is known as the world's greatest open-air museum
  because of its landmarks and ruins.

• Alexandria was once one of the greatest
  cities in the world.  The population has grown
  rapidly over the last hundred years due to high
  birth rates and rural to urban migration.
  Alexandria was well-known as the academic center
  of the world. Today, it is an important port city
  and industrial area. A city of epic historical
  proportions, much of its integral beauty and
  cultural importance has faded, but it is still
  possible to glimpse its past glory.
