What is Phishing?
Phishing is any attempt by attackers to steal
valuable information by pretending to be a
trustworthy party a form of social engineer
attack. Phishing relies on people trusting
official looking messages.
10 ways to spot a phishing attack

• Too good to be true offers
• The message asks for personal information
• The message seems to come from an official source
  (Government, management)
• Unrealistic threats
• It just does not look right

• Unofficial From address
• Messages urgent Action Required
• Generic greeting (Dear member / Dear Customer)
• Links / URLs to a website
• Poor Spelling and grammar

Password Security

• Use different passwords for each of your
  accounts.
• Change your password as often as possible
• Create complex passwords.
• Do not write your passwords on paper / postit. 
• Avoid entering passwords when using untrusted
  Wi-Fi connections.
