2About Graziaa
2
Graziaa o?ers premium hand-crafted garments in
Singapore, including bespoke suits, pants,
skirts, and shirts. It's more than business -
it's a family tradition that started out a long
time ago, implementing techniques that date back
to the 12th century. ?e garments are 100
hand-stitched to maximally ?t your shape and let
you move around freely. Everything from the
fabrics to the very process of sewing is
carefully selected and planned, the use of the
?nest cashmere and wool included.

Jason, the owner, spent years in Europe learning
the ropes from master tailors. Upon returning to
Singapore, he quickly made a name for himself.
His reputation even piqued the interest of Paolo
Zegna, chairman of the famous Italian fashion
house Ermenegildo Zegna. Jason is one of the
few Southeast Asians to receive an invitation to
tour the fabric factory and have dinner with
the Italian.
4About Graziaa
4
Today, one generation later, Graziaa still refers
to the same exacting methods and
rules that were once acquired in Europe. For
bespoke suits, it sticks with little or no
shoulder padding, which creates a natural slope
from the shoulders to the neck, adding to a
smooth look. ?ey also pay close attention to
detail, picking the buttons from cutting-edge
shell and double stitching them for maximum
durability. ?e lapels can be notched or standard.
All this serves to create a clean look that is
appropriate for elegant dinners or o?ce meetings.
5?e Di?erence Between Graziaa's Suits and MTM
Items
5
Normally, made-to-measure suits consist of two
layers - there is a thin inside lining and an
outermost material which is made of wool or
silk. ?ey are glued together, which makes for a
sti? ?t, and this is something you don't want.
When it comes to bespoke items, there is a third
layer in between that is called a canvas. It's
basically a cloth that starts at the top and can
go halfway or all the way to the bottom.
Normally, it is left ?oating so it can shift
back and forth when you are moving and harmonise
with your body's shape. For this reason, it is
the most mundane part of the suit-making process.

and MTM Items
- Aside from that, there is a fused type. It
contains some canvas which is fastened with glue
to the other two layers so you can't really tell
there is a third one there. Needless to say,
this is the worst option as it defeats the
purpose of everything. - What Graziaa o?ers is fully-canvased pieces of
clothing where the cloth hovers lightly between
the top and bottom layers.
- Another obvious di?erence is that hand- stitched
suits have a large lifespan. Even the pockets
are more resistant to strain than what you
normally get with a machine-sewn garment. But
it's not just the durability there are no
unappealing sags and lumps owing to the
meticulous attention paid to the entire process. - Overall, more than 30 hours of hard work go into
the making of a single suit.
7?e Bene?ts
7
Graziaa's attire is suitable for everyone who
appreciates customisable garments of superior
quality. ?ey allow for more ?exibility and don't
limit your movements. Not to mention, they can
maintain most of their shape regardless of the
pose you are assuming. Translated your
shoulders will not look unnatural when you raise
your arms above your head. What is more
important is there is no limit on the number of
alterations that could be made to craft the
perfect piece of clothing. The main goal is to
sew a suit that ?ts your body from top to bottom.
?is means there will be no wrinkles at the top
of the shoulders that can be seen from the
front, nor cli?-dimples that appear when the
shoulders are too wide. It also means there is
no extra fabric that looks ridiculous and makes
you feel uncomfortable.

8
But that's not all the perks that you get when
you have Graziaa tailor clothes for you.
- Another crucial aspect is breathability. Most
fast-fashion retailers opt for synthetic fabrics
that come cheap. ?ese not only look and feel bad
but also have di?erent - reactions to pressing and cleaning agents.
?eir shape retention is poor in general. - ?e company puts tremendous e?ort and hand labour
into the process. Instead of gluing some pieces
together (collar, shoulders, etc.), the tailor
cuts and shapes - the canvas manually. ?is helps keep the
so-called bubbling e?ect to a - minimum and signi?cantly prolongs the life
of the item. - It is important to note that no templates are
involved in the clothes making at Graziaa. ?ere
is no need to do so as each body is unique and
needs a - personalised approach. Plus, they have clothes
for almost all sizes.
