• JAM is expected to serve as the country's
  benchmark for science education at the
  undergraduate level. In the early 1990s, the
  Integrated Ph.D. Program at IISc was launched to
  allow learners to register for a Ph.D.
  immediately from their B.Sc. Degree. The M.Sc.
  (Two Years), Joint M.Sc .- Ph. D., M.Sc .- Ph. D.
  Dual and other IIT post-Bachelor programs and
  IISc Integrated Ph.D. programs offer in their
  respective disciplines a very high quality
  education as compared to the best in the world.
• In order to qualify the exams the candidates need
  to study thoroughly from Iit Jam Physics Books
  which have all the material required for
  studying. The students must prepare for the exam
  from the physics books in which everything is
  given and the syllabus is also complete. In the
  different books the study material is given for
  the books so the students can check it and
  prepare for the exam accordingly.

• Educational qualification
• Applicants qualifying for JAM must meet the
  following eligibility requirements for IISc,
  Bangalore IIT admissions.
• For IISc, Bangalore first-class marks (as stated
  by the college) for applicants in the general /
  OBC category and at least second-class or 50
  overall marks for applicants in the SC and ST
  categories.
• For IITs at least 55 percent aggregate marks for
  general / OBC applicants (taking into
  consideration all topics, including languages and
  subsidiaries, all years combined) and at least 50
  percent aggregate marks (taking into account all
  topics, including subsidiaries and languages,
  all years combined) for qualifying SC, ST and PD
  applicants.

• Negative marking
• The questions which are not attempted will
  lead to zero mark in all segments. Wrong response
  will lead in adverse marks in Section-A (MCQ).
  For each incorrect response of 1 mark questions,
  1/3 mark is deducted and 2/3 mark is deducted
  likewise for each incorrect response of 2 mark
  questions.
• Online virtual calculator is provided and
  therefore applicants should not take any
  calculator with them.
• Mobile phones or other electronic devices inside
  the examination room are strictly forbidden. In
  the examination room, charts, graph sheets and
  tables are also NOT permitted.
• For the rough work, a scribble pad is given and
  this must be returned at the end of the exam.
• The candidates can download the IIT JAM

  easy for them to score good marks in the
  examination.
