HOW DOES KNEE WORKES?
Knee is the most important structure organised as
to make the harmonious movement of legs possible
and allows one to stand in straight posture. The
working of knee is better understood only when we

components of knee. Knee joint consists of FEMUR
(the thigh bone), TIBIA (the shinbone or bigger
lower leg bone), FIBULA (small lower thigh bone),
PATELLA (the knee cap), Tendons, Ligaments,

at front of knee joint, attached by tendons to

cartilages to provide cushions and act as shock
absorber that prevents friction between the bones
