About Visa 445

• This visa 445 allows a child to stay in Australia
  temporarily while their parents permanent
  partner visa application is in process. The
  Dependent Child Visa Subclass 445 is for children
  under 18 years whose parent holds a temporary
  partner visa. The Subclass 445 dependent child
  visa is issued on a temporary basis to the child,
  a child can be inside or outside Australia when
  applying for this visa.

• move to or stay in Australia
• travel to and from Australia
• work and study in Australia
• Once the child has been granted this visa, they
  mustapply to be added to their parent's
  permanent Partner visa application.

  until their parent's permanent Partner visa
  application decided or their parent withdraws
