It was Dr. Norman Orentreich who performed the
first hair transplant surgery for male pattern
baldness in the year 1952. Although the medical
community did not accept the first few
submissions of his paper, the study got published
in 1959. The term "donor dominance" was termed by
Dr. Orentreich and he explained the principle of

Grafts Mini Grafting was introduced in the field
in the year 1984. It was a technique where the
use of smaller grafts was made that was cut from
a strip of donor tissue rather punching out
directly from the back of the scalp. Micro grafts
