Details Challenges As an organization who is very particular about processes, the client management team always keeps looking into what can be made better. One such area found during their employee surveys was the response time from HR team. It is a well-known fact that poor response from HR team can be a potential to employee dissatisfaction and hence lead to valuable members choosing move on from any organization. Client decided to develop a mobile based solution to enable employees get quick answers to certain standard questions so as to enhance employee engagement and hence satisfaction with the companys services provided. Solution We developed an Artificial Intelligence based chatbot that was made available to all employees for quickly getting answers and accessing relevant info. The chatbot makes use of Dialogflow API V2 which primarily acts as the bot engine using algorithms for natural language processing to get the intent from the users input. The bot makes use of Natural Language Processing for enhanced customer experience Conversational UI for ease of communication Keyword Extractor to judge users intent take appropriate actions Omni-channel presence for round the clock responsiveness After getting an intent from Dialogflow, the bot queries multiple back-end systems, processes the information and presents it to the user almost in an instant. Results The HR team receives much less queries about what my salary break-up is, and providing payslips, etc. This helps in two ways first and foremost being greater employee satisfaction as they trust this information to be available as and when they need without going through lengthy processes, approvals and waiting in queue. The second benefit achieved was lesser workload for HR team and hence being able to focus on more productive issues. Both of these have greatly contributed towards a healthier relationship between the employees and the HR team having taken away the pain point for both. The response time for HR queries has gone down from 2 days to 2 minutes and the average employee satisfaction rating has gone up from 3 to 4 ?
