  • Proofreading is the process of reviewing the
    final draft of a piece of writing to ensure -

  • Check that content looks right and is logically
    arranged.
  • Eliminate inelegant or confusing word, column
    and page breaks.
  • Anything missed at the editing stage.
  • Check page numbers and page headings.
