the pound scale. - Need to remove plastic as well as cardboard
boxes before measuring remains.
4Place Newspaper on Flat Place
- Take a newspaper and place it on a flat surface
like floor, table. - The Flat surface should be steady and smooth so
that it can hold an urn steady. Proper Lighting
should be available and without any wind. - Put disposable gloves on your hands.
5Purchase and Test a Funnel
- You need to purchase a funnel from local market
or online vendor. - Make sure the funnel is of sufficient space to
pass remains without clogging. - Test your funnel by pouring sand through it.
6Cut the Bag Diagonally
- Cut the remains bag diagonally to make sure it
pours properly. - If not sure of cut size, better to cut a small
portion first and later cut large, if required.
7Place Funnel on Urn and Pour
- Place the funnel on the urn tightly so that
remains do not drop outside the urn. - If the combination is less tight, use paper
towel around the urns opening. - Slowly pour the remains from the bag into the
urn through the funnel.
8Scoop the Remains and Dispose Newspaper
- Regularly scoop the remains that entered from
the opening of the funnel. - Make sure to hold a keepsake over the newspaper
to catch remains. - Once all remains are transferred to an urn,
dispose off the newspaper with the dispersed
remains.
9Seal the Urn
- After you are sure to keep the urn, you need to
seal the urn opening properly. - Use epoxy resin adhesive to seal the urn
properly. - You can even use the plastic to seal the
complete urn to keep the lid secure.
