In The Matter Of Medical Negligence In Pakistan
A Facebook Post Titled Medical Negligence in
Pakistan has come to knowledge of the Aga Khan
University Hospital The post has unsubstantiated
allegations of medical negligence against the
doctors and physicians of the hospital.
A complaint on this case had previously been
logged with the Pakistan Medical and Dental
Council (PMDC), and had been duly investigated by
PMDC. After a through investigation, The PMDC
Disciplinary Committee cleared the said
AKUH doctors of any wrongdoing.

Before the complaint was taken to PMDC, the
family had lodged a complaint with the Patient
Experience Department at The Aga Khan University
Hospital on November 2017 and the Hospital had
also thoroughly investigated this case.
The Writer of the post has also field a suit in
the High Court, which is pending. No further
comment can be made as the matter is under
judicial consideration.
