Title: Clinical Trials- Pro-ficiency
1The ProCT Learning Experience
Pro-ficiency combines multimedia content and
simulations to mirror the real-world challenges
site staff encounter when implementing new
protocols. This unique test and teach methodology
engages site staff more effectively than
traditional training.
Over 90 of site staff (across a sample group of
13 studies) reported that they found ProCT to be
more engaging, more effective and a better
utilization of their time than traditional
training.
Pro-ficiency is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant and has
successfully completed sponsor-level audits
2The ProCT Analytics Dashboard
Pro-ficiency provides sponsors, CROs and
stakeholders access to a proprietary, real-time
and easy-to-use dashboard of training measures.
Designed to provide business intelligence-level
findings on human performance and areas of risk,
metrics can be segmented by individual, site,
country, region or study.
3Benefits
- Reduce costs and start-up time replace or reduce
of meetings - Pro-ficiency has been successfully implemented as
replacement to Investigator Meetings, decreasing
time to SIV and reducing, or eliminating,
IM-associated costs. - Mitigate cost and risk associated with site turn
over - New site staff can be trained on protocols, GCP,
Safety and other critical elements of a study,
immediately upon selection. Training is
consistent across all site staff and Pro-ficiency
provides data on individual knowledge gaps to
reduce risk associated with human error. - Reduce site burden related to redundant training
- Pro-ficiency develops modularized training
allowing site staff to test out of commonly
redundant training, such as IP overviews, tools
(e-platform and others), Safety, and GCP.
4Benefits
- Improves insight into site performance and
reduces time and effort addressing regulatory
requirements - Pro-ficiency captures all training records in a
real-time, and has an easy-to-use dashboard
(including completions, certificates and time
stamps). Reports may be exported for CRO use in
managing regulatory requirements and is
compatible with most internal records systems. - Predicts potential for human and performance
based protocol errors and helps sponsors and
partners mitigate the risk - Pro-ficiency captures performance measures that
may be used to micro target human performance
risk areas at the individual, site, country or
study level. When training is completed prior to
SIV, CRAs may use this segmented data to better
target potential risk areas based on known
knowledge gaps.
