How To Setup Echo Dot?
Amazon Echo Dot is now into its 3rd generation
and remains the most affordable Alexa- enabled
device in the market. The improved device comes
with its own built-in speakers but can be easily
connected to another speaker through Bluetooth or
3.5mm audio jack. Measuring just 99mm in diameter
and 43mm in height, Amazon Echo Dot is also the
smallest Alexa enabled device.
The new look of the device gives Itna fabric
finish to blend into seamlessly into your
home environment. The device face comes with the
light ring on the side, found in all Amazon Alexa
devices and four buttons on the top face- Volume
Up, Volume down, Mic off button and 'Action
button.

Amazon echo dot setup
1) Download the Amazon Alexa app from the app
store on your smartphone or tablet. You can also
go through the setup by going to amazon.alexa.com
from the browser on your desktop. Alexa app is
compatible with Android 5.0 versions of higher,
iOS 9.0 versions or higher and FireOS 3.0 version
or higher.

2) Sign into the app with your Amazon account
credentials and also plug in your device to
a power source. 3) Begin setup by choosing
'Setup a new device option from the app menu.
This will take you to a list of Alexa -enabled
devices. Choose Echo Dot and move onto the next
step. 4) The ring light on your device will turn
orange after you plug it into a power source for
the first time. This indicates the Amazon Echo
setup mode. You can press the 'Action button on
the device for six seconds if the light isn't
appearing.

5) Now move out of the app and choose a custom
Amazon wireless network appearing under the Wi-Fi
settings. 6) Come back to the app to see the
list of available networks to join for your
daily interaction with Alexa. This can be updated
through the app later if you wish to
switch networks. 7) Once the connection is
established, the Echo dot setup is complete.
The device will now appear in your devices on the
Alexa app. Once theAmazon Echo Dot setup is
complete, just talk to Alexa in your natural
voice by using the default wake word 'Alexa. Let
Alexa respond to you and perform tasks for you
completely hands-free. Other Echo devices can be
added to the app and setup is similar to the Echo
dot setup explained in the steps above.
