Coffee Creek Ranch was founded in 1900,
surrounded by National Forest and the Trinity
Alps wilderness area in Northern California. Its
367 acres lie along Coffee Creek, an excellent
stream for fly-fishing and gold-panning! We are
located 72 miles Northwest of Redding, 8 miles
above Trinity Lake.
The ranch originally operated as boarding house,
school, and post office during the 1900s gold
rush, so there are strong ties to local history
here. And get this one of the largest nuggets
ever found was pulled from Coffee Creek and
weighed in excess of 42 pounds! For the
adventuresome, riding and fishing will quickly
happily fill a day, and for those interested in
simply relaxing, the calming sounds of Coffee
Creek Ranch can lull away most worries.

About Coffee Creek Ranch Lodging The secluded
cabins at Coffee Creek Ranch may look rustic from
the outside, but the atmosphere inside is cozy.
Each cabin has a theme based on its brand. Circle
B, for example, is decorated with bears, Bigfoot,
and butterflies! All fifteen cabins have tall
pines and ceiling fans to help keep them cool.
One ranch house room and two cabin are equipped
for the handicapped. Most family cabins have
wood-burning stoves where a view of the fire sets
the mood for those romantic weekend getaways
for couples.

Creek Ranch is an all-inclusive guest ranch
located in the beautiful and serene Trinity Alps
Wilderness Area of Northern California. The ranch
has a rustic western design that reflects the
history, culture, and heritage of the area and
the ranch. We have a lot to offer our guests such
as daily horseback rides, gold panning, over 780
miles of hiking trails, fishing, pack trips,
badminton, volleyball, horseshoes, table tennis,
archery, trap shoot and rifle ranges, pedal
boating, and basketball. Other amenities include
a heated pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, beer wine bar,
gym, and a kids summer program guided by our
wonderful counselors. Evening activities for the
summer include bonfires, bingo, square and line
dancing, and karaoke just to name a few! For the
guests adventurous side a Wilderness Pack Trip
to one of the 42 sparkling alpine lakes with
deer/bear hunting is the highlight of the fall
season.

enjoy a fun-filled schedule of summer activities
on their dude ranch vacations, including pony
rides, nature walks, crafts, tubing in the creek,
panning for gold and much more! Supervised summer
youth programs are specially designed by age
groups.

About Coffee Creek Ranch Riding
Information Typically, two rides a day are
scheduled, and rides are divided by ability
level. Private lessons can also be scheduled.
Breakfast rides are the most popular, with the
all-day wilderness ride to a lake the most
spectacular! For a unique riding experience, the
all-day ride may be extended into an overnight
pack trip returning the next day. If horseback
riding is your pleasure and nature is your love,
miles of trails will surely satisfy. Access to
550 miles of trails that lead through some breath
taking scenery, the waterfall and Sugar Pine Lake
rides are well worth the trip with
picture-postcard views of the Trinity Alps
Wilderness area. Plus 17 miles of the PCT.
