Introduction

• Globalization is one of the major factors
  which influence the culture significantly. The
  culture of any society either positively or
  negatively affects by the globalization
  (Cleveland et al., 2016). But as far as evidence
  of the impact of globalization on culture is
  concerned, there are positive effects of
  globalization on culture.

Effects of Globalization on Culture

• Globalization has brought people to a single
  platform where people of
• different society live together. They share
  their attitude, tradition, culture,
• values, and morale with each other. It affects
  the tradition, values, custom,
• culture, attitudes, etc. of the people.
  Therefore, we can say that the globalization
• has a significant impact on the culture. .

Positive Effects

• The people tend to adopt the good thing
  instead of bad things. When people share their
  culture, out of all the practices, the good
  practices are adopted by the people of a
  different culture (Bartsch et al., 2016). For
  Examples The people of the third world countries
  such as Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, etc.
  were not interested in sending their girl child
  to schools to get an education. But after the
  introduction of globalization and the influence
  of cross culture the people have started sending
  their girl child to schools to get an education.

Negative Effects

• In some cases coming together of the people
  from different culture affect the culture of some
  individuals negatively. The people think that the
  culture of other people is superior to our
  culture and they adopt that culture and leave own
  culture (Bartsch et al., 2016). For Example, it
  is Indian culture that women wear such clothes
  which cover whole body. But after coming under
  the influence of western culture, the Indian
  women have started wearing short clothes which is
  against the Indian culture.

Conclusion

• The culture of the individuals is not only the
  way they behave, perceives some things, celebrate
  their festivals, but it is also the identity of
  the people (Hirst et al., 2015). Therefore, the
  people should not leave own culture although,
  they can adopt some good practices of the other
  culture.
