You need to check whether the clutch is engaging
or disengaging properly or not by stepping on the
clutch pedal when the car is running and shifting
into gear without any abnormal sounds.

If your car is hydraulically operated, then make
sure that the fluid level is adequate and if it
is cable operated then make sure that it is
functioning correctly.

You have to pay attention to any signs which may
indicate that the clutch is slipping and if it is
indeed slipping, then it will not engage properly.

You need to put your car in the first gear and
drive off from a stop as usual and when releasing
the clutch pedal pay attention to any abnormal
